Some chairs

Some chairs I found just laying around the studio files. Seemed a shame for them to be collecting dust like that. Many thanks to Denise Morocco of Kent Interiors and congratulations, Denise, on your new web site.

Interior shoots with Yvonne are always fun, as well as inspiring for my personal projects. Glad to see some of our images making the rounds. Check out more of Yvonne’s work. She’s creating an amazing portfolio and I am honored to be a part of it.

Beautiful work, ladies of Shelter Interiors! Thanks for the opportunity to shoot such a fun and inviting home.

As photographers, we may review hundreds of images in a given day. Editing shots for clients and promotional use can sometimes be daunting. At times, you look and the choice seems completely clear. Other times, like this one, there is a bit of back and forth.
Which image do you find more compelling on first glance?
Back in December, style blogger Rachel Thomas featured a New Canaan remodel by Shelter Interiors LLC on her interior design blog, raenovate. I had the pleasure of shooting the after photos for Shelter. Head on over here to check them out.
December 3 2009
This barn on Long Neck Point Road in Darien, Connecticut will be one of our final green exterior shoots of 2008, so it’s a bittersweet afternoon. Crisp autumn days are always my favorite and it seems that there are never enough. This shoot got way more interesting when a local property owner sped up in his truck to demand justification for our presence on site. Apparently the Architect was standing on ‘his road’. We made it out unscathed, though it seemed that land-owner-man sped away angrily. I love living dangerously!
