Welcome to the industrial, modern, sustainable, corporate interior, designed as the urban headquarters for a growing power company!
I had the privilege to photograph the cool new offices of North American Power, located in urban, Norwalk, Connecticut, for designer Beinfield Architecture PC. With renewable materials and a fantastic living wall, these interiors are as innovative as the brand it represents.
Check out this welcoming lobby that makes use of exposed brick, polished concrete, a wood dividing wall, and a sleek metal reception desk.
They keep candy at that desk. All the time. No joke. I didn’t eat any during the photo shoot… None.
Although undeniable signs of spring are apparent, it is still mighty brisk around these parts. All winter, I’ve been day dreaming about the incredible living wall that spans the length of the common work space.
And I have a bit of envy over the furniture. Barcelona chairs? Check. Re-purposed industrial carts? Check. Awesome rugs and plants that people seem to keep alive? Check and check.
And although this beautiful wood conference room table looks like it just came from the forest…
My favorite space is definitely the modern, inviting, company kitchen. And the people. Trying to photograph this kitchen without someone giving me a cookie or a cup of coffee was quite a feat. Thanks for the warm welcome.
